Question: expired box tops

Anyone have any ideas on what to do with expired box tops? I had heard that the military uses them in their commisary even if there expired. Does anyone know?

Yes, I would like to find about the military commisary for use of expired box tops. I used some of my expired box tops to decorate manila envelopes for teacher. Is so easy to spot a manila envelope with box tops all over. And I used them for display too.
