Question: Filling for tax-exempt status with the state

I live in Minnesota and we have state income tax is there a form I need to fill out with the state to become tax-exempt with them also?

I believe, like most states, Minnesota accepts the IRS determination, so once you receive federal tax-exempt status, you will also be exempt from state income taxes. You should double check with the state Department of Revenue, however. Also, there's a form you can fill out for exemption from state sales tax, form ST16.
