Question: Which companies have been known to donate and how to contact them

I im in charge of providing incentives/rewards for our students in order to commend them for outstanding acheivements such as honor roll, attendence and leadership skills. In the past we have used "freebies" donated by local restaurants, however I would like to do something different. I am not opposed to rewards of a food nature, however a free kids meal is hard for a student to "cash in" when the family is unable to afford the rest of the dinner. Also, food as a reward opens other problems. So...my question is this...are there corporations that are willing to donate small gifts/giftcards of no more than $5, such as Walmart, Target, Blockbuster, etc?

Check out the Ultimate Donation List thread on the message boards. It is intended for school auction donations but I bet you'll find some useful information for your incentive program.
