Question: advancing a grade

I have two children 1st and 2nd grade both are doing very well and testing beyound there grade level, I have the support of the teachers and prinicpal but the school board doesnt have policies allowing them to advance to the next grade level, where can i get documentation showing the benefits of advancment?

This is a little beyond the scope of what we cover, but I have a great resource for you. It's a Q&A site like this one called Ask a REL. Visit askarel.org, click on your state, then type in your question. They'll find the existing research (on both sides of the issue) that school officials will care about.
