Question: Nominating Committee - Chair Duties

I have been designated the chair of our nominating committee. There seems to be some issues regarding who to put forth, and I wanted to know if there are any guidelines and/or duties that are intrinsic to the Chair?

If you disagree on who to put forward, why not put both (or all) forward? As the nominating committee, it's your job to find qualified candidates. It's up to the membership to make the final choice. As chair, you get to set the agenda for the committee, but decisions should be made by consensus (or vote).
