Question: Joint Memberhsip Drives

Our school district is considering at joint messaging and drive between the PTO and the foundation. Has anyone done this and can you share marketing tips?

I haven't run into any groups that have done that, but it's an interesting idea. Do you have a townwide PTO? I think the challenge would be to explain the difference between the foundation and the PTO(s), especially if both are running fundraising activities. It might confusing to people who aren't involved.
