Question: I sthis allowed?

Our PTO President recently assaulted another mother at our school. The judge granted a 4 year restraining order be put on her. Can she still hold the office of PTO president? Should everyone in the school be notified of her background?

I don't know the legalities of a restraining order, but that certainly would be a legitimate reason to remove her from office. As far as notifying the rest of the school, I wouldn't recommend that. The best situation for the group is for her to step down quietly. Also, you don't say she was actually convicted of assault. Spreading the word, if you're not very careful, could actual leave you open to claims of libel/slander.
