Question: Middle Level Parent involvement
Hi everyone! I am an education major and I'm currently in a middle-level education course. As one my assignments, I have to join an online discussion group to find out more about parent involvement in the middle level grades. I had a few questions. First, what type of school does your child attend (rural, suburban, urban)? What are some of the characteristics of his/her school? Are there a lot of opportunities for parents to be involved in their child's education? How has the communication between parents and teachers changed as compared to the elementary school years? What are some rewards of having your child attend the middle school they go to? Any complaints?
