is the pto allowed to give money in support for a local voting issue? ex..levy pass...board of ed election..issue pass

If you are a nonprofit, under IRS rules your group cannot campaign on behalf of or against a candidate but you may support (or work against!) positions such as school bonds. The money must be inconsequential to your budget.
