Question: Educating about sex trafficking in schools

I am a parent and a college student doing research on educating parents, legislators, law enforcement and children on sex trafficking and was astonished to not see any information about this topic on the website. It seems that through our local PTOs, we could help spread education and information about the rising epidemic, how traffickers recruit our children, warning signs, etc. I guess I am wondering why there is nothing about it?

Hi Sunny -- Thanks for your question. There are lots of important topics about children, and that's certainly one. As I'm sure you can understand, we have very limited resources and so have to focus on our core topic -- helping parent group leaders serve their schools more effectively and run their groups more efficiently. We rarely, if ever, write about more general topics -- it's just not something we're able to do. You're more than welcome to post a link to your site below if you'd like to give people a place to go for more information.
