Question: PTO without leadership

Is it legal to have a PTO without a president or vp? Right now our board consists of a treasurer (me), secretary, and the prinicipal. We have been unsuccessful in gaining any volunteers. Next year, we plan on cutting way back but having a fundraiser and supporting the school monetarily. Is it legal to carry on, though?

Really all you need is a secretary and a treasurer. The presiding official can be elected at each meeting and the duties of the president and VP can be delegated to someone else. As long as you have quorum, you are ok. (If you are incorporated, the rules change.)
