Question: Ways to deal with winter boots

Hi everyone, We are trying to come up with ideas to help keep the floors dry in the winter when the kids return from recess. Currently, the kids have an area in the classroom but we'd like to install coat hooks in the hallways to give teachers more space. Boot trays normally only hold about 4 pairs so it would be very expensive to get them for the whole school, although we will be fundraising. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi!
The best I can come up with is newspapers. It would require someone spreading them out in the morning and cleaning them up at the end of the day. Not convenient at all. But, inexpensive. You might be able to recycle the newspapers once they are used and have parents send in their old newspapers so you have a regular supply.

Good luck!
