Hi,
Is this a person who has asked to volunteer at an event? If there is a reason why you don't want this person to help out, you can respectfully thank them and let this person know you are all set for volunteers. If there is an event at the school open to the public, then this person would be allowed "on school grounds,'' unless there's a history here that would prevent it.

This person no longer has a child in the district and they are reportedly not a paid member. I was told that this person showed up as a volunteer to a closed to the general public event. Administration is now dealing with the situation. Thank you so much for your feedback!
