Has anyone ordered/seen any of the free educational videos from VPW (www.vpw.com)? They have quite an assortment created with industry, commercial, and toursim partnes. The tapes are completely free for schools (don't even have to pay shipping). There are several I ordered for the teachers including, electrical safety, Japanese culture, Shamu, food safety.

I got the first one which is an 8 minute video tour of the Mr. Jelly Belly factory and shows how their jelly beans are made. That one was made as a promotional/educational device and is about 40% marketing. But it's only 8 minutes, and it is interesting so I think the kids will like it. I think some of the others are a little less commercial.

I was curious about any experiences the rest of you have had and wanted to let you know this might be a resource.

Technically, you are supposed to be a teacher or a librarian to place an order, but I ordered some as PTO president, using the school's address and info and they shipped it.
