Opening PTA Meeting-need ideas for speakers/entertainment

I am a new PTA President and am in need of ideas for our first PTA Meeting in September. Last year we had a really great Magic Show/Just Say No program and it was fabulous. Need something the kids as well as families will enjoy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Debbie,

I am also a new PTO president, or soon to be, from what I'm told. I have never done anything like this before, could I ask you for help in letting me know what you find out? I would appreciate any help. I think I may be a bit over my head in this area. Thank you.
