We just installed our new playground after a year of fundraising. The first thing I did was get a concept picture of our new playground. We used Miracle Playground Systems and they gave me a large poster size picture to place in our school lobby. After that, it was communication to parents that got the funds raised. We let them know how boxtops could purchase i piece of equipment. We updated the parents in every newsletter as to how we were doing. Everyone rallied behind the project and we raised more money this year than every before. Just a note, once you complete you r playground, celebrate your accomplishment with a ribbon cutting. It helps the parents to see the concrete evidence of their fundraising efforts.
