I'm looking for sample bylaws for PTOs who are NOT a separate legal entity from the school. We do not have our own Tax ID number, we use the school's tax ID number. We do have our own checking account and keep everything separate and we get pretty much free reign to do our own thing. We have a set of bylaws already but are doing a MAJOR overhaul over the next few months. If anyone has some they'd like to share I've welcome any suggestions. Check out CrewChief's Bylaws on the File Exchange. The school they came from was one that operated under the school board, as outlined within the bylaws. I hope they help.
