We are a group of parents who want to form a PTO for our newly founded cyber charter school. Many of us have never met face to face and actual meetings will be done in online chat rooms...

About a month ago we tried to hold elections, which would only be temporary, till proper elections can take place in the spring, but were met with lots of parents saying we should wait to hear from the school. The school said they want a PTO formed and to go ahead and start it.

Any tips for this new cyber school PTO formation?
