This year we did something totally different than has ever been done at our school. I read on the weekly newsletter about doing a walk of appreciation and sent out an email to all of our parents about it. On Sunday, thank goodness rain was not in the forecast, my family, another family and a student I grabbed from the playground did just that. With just a dollar I was able to create the most memorable moment for my teachers. They all loved it and since they all have my cell number I got about 50 texts saying how awesome we are. It was a hit!!! We also did a breakfast last Friday (since this week is a plant sale), stuffed mailboxes with pens and they are in for another surprise at the end of the week. We will post to our website within the week for all the parents to see soon.

For teacher appreciation at my children's daycare, I gave each of the main teachers a reusable travel cup with a straw and put a $5 gift card for a coffee place in it. For the owner I gave her flowers with a cute sign that said "Thanks for helping [insert kids name} bloom".
