My husband is itching to give some info out. The way we look at it, if we can get you guys to do it, then he will have a job. LOL Just kidding. He wanted to do it for our school, but not sure if the interest is there. So he wants to help other schools do it. He is currently laid off, but can easily get some info for anyone who wants it. Just drop me an email. quincypto@hotmail.com

We have chosen Remember Me to print our Yearbook. We are a k-6 grade school. They have a full color yearbook, all the layouts can be done online and they are very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

We are going with School Annual The rep has been very helpful and their kit is so easy to do that we are actually looking forward to making our yearbook. (our first time at it. The last time a yearbook for our school was done was over two years ago.) Their website is www.schoolannual.com

Try Taylor Publishing. Our elementary school had a good experience with them for many years until our PTC board decided to make a change.

we are using Taylor Publishing again this year. We interviewed 5 other vendors including Life Touch.... We used Life Touch a few years ago. this year, when we interviewed them, they seemed great until it was time to negotiate. We've also used Jostens too.

sometimes it's easier to use the company that takes the school picture.

speaking of negotiations.... I found out it varies from school to school. Life Touch offered us $16.98 for 300 full color yearbooks. they offered another school $12 for 250 full color books.

it's ALL in the negotiations. read the entire contract and fine print before you sign it in blood.

you can negotiate over runs, deposits, number of books, price per book, deadlines, posters, fliers, money collection envelopes, etc.....

this is my first year so it's a learning year for me.

So far, I'm happy with Taylor. They have an online program.

there are so many things you take for granted like....page numbers...who would've thought you had to ask for page numbers? but if you don't....they will charge you for it....there's tons of hidden charges.

email me directly at: diemsellers@comcast.net

I put together a FAQ that I wanted to ask my vendor. this helps you get the information and helps the meeting go faster since they know what questions you have.

good luck,
d

In regards to Yearbooks, has anyone heard of or tried Interstate Studio located in Missouri. It's noted they have been in business for over 75 years? I need some feedback, first time our school has had a yearbook in ten years.
