I also sent letters to all the professional sports teams (Hockey, Basketball, Baseball and Football) in my state (Michigan)
They are the makers of Kookies-- originally they were just sending out 12 after they received your donation letter-- but they have received a lot through the box tops coordinators-- now they are asking for $10.00 S&H-- still worth it though-- they are like WEBKINZ and they have a site as well in case you didn't know.
Local Fast food restaurants-- McDonald's, Arby's, Burger King-- If they can't give our certificates-- they will give you new bagged happy meal toys-- and some are quite popular with the kids...
Also Dave and Busters-- just send a letter or stop by-- they gave 400 $10.00 power card certificates...
Just bumping this up to see if anyone else has had any luck with getting donations for their fundraiser?
I am in the midst of seeking donations for our 10th annual Tricky Tray in May and have gotten a lot of really good leads from this website.
Thanks in advance for any help!
They do not do donations to schools anymore. They will allow organizations to come into the park to volunteer on certains days during the year and then pay the organization based on a per volunteer basis but nothing for schools like ours
