We have sold Smencils for over 2 years now-- and they've been great-- we sell them for $1.00 and are sold at our School store-- This has been a great product for us!
Our Student Council (elementary school) sold Smencils last year for $1. They were very popular - I think they sold about 700 and we have a little over 500 kids in school. I know one child who bought every scent! They also bought them as gifts as the sale was near the holidays.

The smencils keep thier scents for about 2 years, I think. The smencils were a hit in our school! The colored pencils didn't sell well, neither did the markers (you can buy smelly markers anywhere). The bookmarks didn't sell at all, and lost thier scents quickly. We ended up giving them away.
