Our 6th graders have been selling the Smencils since the beginning of the school year. The money is going to help pay for 6th grade Science Camp. The kids at our school pre k-8th LOVE the Smencils!! They are a big seller and the kids are selling them for a $1.00! I would recommend having them at your carnival!

What does that have to do with Smencils? Sounds like an ad to me. Also 15% profit is very low. You should always be looking for 50% profit from fundraising.

We sold Smencils a couple of times. Both sales were very successful. We spent some extra time and put together "sets" of all the scents. We gave a very small discount if all of the "flavors" were purchased together. We sold a hundred or more sets and tons of singles. If I were to give them away at a carnival, I would give away a very limited amount. Then a week after the carnival, when the kids have had time to show their friends how cool they are, I would hold a pencil sale. The kids will be so excited to get them!
