I think you should try and contact Chuck who posted from Varsity Gold. He left his number and I think it is best to go right to the source. See if you can find out the facts straight from Varsity Gold, and not go by what other people say.

I just heard that Varsity Gold filed Chapter 7 and is indeed going bankrupt, Help! Does anyone have a solid answer on this?

I am not sure about Chapter 7, but they put all employees on 'unpaid vacation' ie layed off, and most of their reps filed in court to be released from their non-compete agreements. The company as it was, is no more.
I left the company last year, and am in daily contact with many of the people that use to work there. While they have not 'officially' announced they are closing their doors, no one that I have talked to expects to have a job with the company anymore.

I believe the Chapter 7 (liquidation) filing is confirmed, yes.
