Re:Desktop School Supplies

This is such a terrible thing to happen to a School/Parents when they are relying on receiving their supplies for the school year.

Our school has been using School Tool Box www.schooltoolbox.com for the past 4 years. We have been completely satisfied and have always received our boxes in the week we are scheduled for delivery. I am the sponsor and every year I get 2 different quotes from other companies and always feel most comfortable with the STB company and pricing (very competitive). Their Sales Reps/Customer Service Staff are very professional and will always return your call/questions in a timely manner. I have never been disappointed. Their website is very nice, easy to navigate and allows you to submit your supply lists online. Offer multiple discounts/ promotions, they are definitely worth checking out. If your school needs a new company, I would highly recommend giving School Tool Box a chance.

Thanks so much for all the school supply company suggestions. I have a feeling that this was the one and only year that we'll be doing a supply sale at our school. I hope the word is out about this company--they do both school supply sales and fundraising--so other schools can avoid a horrible experience like this.

FYI Desktop School Supplies and Holiday Fair are the same company you might have the same issues if you are signed up with them for that program.

Yes...after threatening legal action and calling DAILY to their corporate location we finally got all of our product...2 months late....but the product is all here at least.

Hi all. I'm new here and also the new president of our parent group. We are planning on doing the supply box thing for next year and I will not be using Desktop so I'm glad I found this post.

The two companies that I have been researching and getting quotes from are School Tool Box (STB, which sounds like a good one) and USA School Supplies. Just curious if anyone here has used USA and what their feelings are about this company. Our group liked the fact that they just do a straight 10% back to the school without having to worry about markups which is how you make your profit with STB. We are planning on doing this as a fundraiser.

Anyone with any more opinions on either of these companies or any other companies that have not been posted yet I would greatly appreciate.

Thank you!
Kristi
