We use a combination of PayPal through our website and Square at events. However paypal is coming out with a "card swiper" soon.

We used PayPal for some parent group donations and purchase of tickets. Frankly very few took advantage of the credit card option, but it was great to be able to SAY "we take credit cards". It really wasn't that hard to setup and the PayPal staff are very helpful.

Our only glitch was failing to understand that PayPal has very strict policies about not allowing any transactions associated with gambling/games of chance.

We sold tickets to our Reverse Raffle Dinner. Since "raffle" was in the phrase, it was later flagged and they froze our account until we resolved the matter. So don't use terms like "raffle" or "bingo" in any listings.

We also recently used Square at our auction with an iPhone. It was amazingly simple. Highly recommend it if you aren't ready to set Up a Visa Mastervcard acct with the bank.
