My oldest son's elementary school asked the local community grocery store to collect box tops for us. The best advice I can give is "know your zone" - don't cross into another school's "territory" but pull from your own district.

I am circling back on this way, way after you had posted. But I wanted to mention we've started up a new group on Facebook called PTO & PTA Leaders and it is a pretty terrific forum for leaders. There are many active folks in the group who are very helpful and offer lots of suggestions. If you are interesting in joining (just request to joint and I will approve!!), you can post your question (or other questions) there and you'll likely get a good response!
I was just appointed as the BT Coordinator for our school so I'm sorting through and reading as much as I can on how to have a successful program. Has anyone approached any businesses with any luck on saving their BTFE for them? If so, what type of business is it? The only thing I can think of is a retirement home but I'm sure there must be other ideas. I'd appreciate any tips or advice! thanks.
