This game was a big hit at our Church's festival. Blindfold kids of all ages. I had them wear decorative hats and lays. Set a timer. Spread old socks on the floor and let the kids crawl around blindfolded and put sock over sock on their feet. The one with the most at the buzzer wins a prize.

Also another game. Fill plates with coolwhip. Hide gummy worms inside the coolwhip. Go bobbing for the gummies. The one who finds the most, wins the prize. It's messy but fun. My neice still talks about both games years later and wants to play.

I have organized a Fall Festival at our Church for five years. Here are a few more ideas that haven't been mentioned on this blog...
Bank-Shot Basketball - Used an angled board and place a basket below it. Players have to throw the ball against the board and then make it into the basket on the floor.

Pumpkin Sweeping - I designed a course using PVC pipe that was taped along the floor. Two piece about two feet apart and just make enough twists and turns to make it interesting. Take a small pumpkin (really small ones for little kids) and then take brooms and shorten the handles. Kids sweep the pumpkin through the PVC pipe maze. I made two side-by-side courses so the kids could race.

Fish Bowl Penny Splash. Fill a Fish Bowl with water and place cups in the bottom. Let kids drop pennies from the top and try to hit the cups for various prices. Color code the cups to determine what prize they get.

Take Aim - Use water guns and large candles. Have kids try to squirt out the flame on a candle with water guns. NOTE: have lots of back-up candles. They need to dry between rounds.

What Is It - Have buckets that are covered with strange foods, substances in them and have kids reach in and try to guess what they are by just feeling them. Have spooky or strange music playing just to heighten their senses.

Super Boat Race - Use Guttering and get small boats. Use water guns and let the kids have side-by-side races.

Rather than use the term "jail", people are sent to "Detention". We think this relates more to a school atmosphere.

How about a pickle spin? Get a wheel and put a picture of a pickle on every other number. When the child spins it and they land on a pickle they win. I know it sounds super simple, but the kids love it.
