Has anyone signed up for the Netflix Thank You program where you get a $7 advertising fee when people take the free trial? I've only seen it from one company and wondered how much you made.

This is a new program that I had not heard about before. I read your post and found a link to the program http://fundraising.com/movies/info.asp. It basically says that you give out coupon for a 2 week free trial and that you get $10 for anyone that signs up for membership following their 2 week free trial. I have been Netflix subscriber for about 1 year now and love it. I would be interested in trying it from the standpoint that it costs nothing to do, it is pretty effortless in terms of what you need to put into it. I wouldn't expect to make a windfall especially since many people are currently already netflix subscribers, but any extra money you can bring in is always a good thing.

Oh..that's a different company than the one I saw before. The one I saw was at www.schoolpals.net and your group makes $7 when someone takes the trial. They don't even have to sign up from what I understand. I think we'll probably give it a shot. Yes, we'll take whatever extra money we can get!

Hi! Yeah when I did a google search the fundraising.com one was the first hit I found. Interesting that two different companies are offering 2 different plans. The one you get $10 for everyone that signs up for membership after the trial and the other one you get $7 for each person whether they become a member or not. Our group is interested in doing this too as some of our members were already interested in becoming Netflix subscribers. Since this is the first time doing it, it may be safer to go with the $7 plan as you will get it either way.

It seems that the schoolpals is banking on a percentage of the individuals becoming full members. I went to http://www.netflix.com/Affiliates?hnjr=8 and saw that they will get at least $9 for everyone that signs up. If they get a large number they could possibly get $30 per person. I think I am going to try the $7 free trial deal.
