Our Silent Auction is taking place during a spring carnival. The carnival is outside and the auction is inside, so we will have people coming in and out of the building (all very close). We have over 100 items. We have been mulling over various ideas for announcing the winners of the silent auction. Announcing them over a P.A. seems pointless in a carnival atmosphere, and very lengthy. We have thought of posting the winners on a poster board outside the room. Anyone have any great ideas? Thanks

Something to think about.
Use computer hooked up to a projector. When winners are announced, put their names up on large overhead, on wall, whereever. Split the screen with name on one side and list on the other.
This way as people stroll in and out, they can just look up, see if their name is there and claim their prizes.
