Carnival Prizes - PC

10 Years, 5 Months ago

Page: 1

Our PTO is looking for carnival prizes which are not made by child laborors in the orient. We are considering using the "win tickets - trade for prize" idea so we can have more flexibility on cost.

1. Does anyone know of a company that certifies that their products are not from sweat-shops or labor camps?
2. Suggestions on the ticket redemption booth to avoid chaos.

Thanks!

Hi Laszlo: At our prize redemption booth, we had like 4-5 people in it, with 1-2 people counting the tickets and giving the kids back a coupon that said, This coupon worth ____ tickets. (Just fill in the amount they gave you)Then they can browse a little and let you know when they are ready, we had a person for each prize level (1 ticket, 5 tickets, 10 tickets, etc)We only set out 1 or 2 or each prize (it was actually taped to the table) with boxes underneath the table. It got busy at times, especially towards the end, but overall went pretty smoothly. FYI: Our carnival is for 4 hrs, and there are about 500 people or so that come.
