flat fee or per lap jog-a-thons?

Can anyone tell me waht you think about doing a flat fee pledge for a jog-a-thon verses collecting per lap. I need some input !PLEASE ! :confused:

I prefer a flat rate. I think people donate more when they can decide how much to give.
