We would like to come up with an event or such that is appropriate for 4th and 5th graders. We nixed the Mom/Son and Father/Daughter night for these grades due to lack of participation. We always have plenty of ideas for the younger ones it's just these grade levels that we get stuck on. Any ideas?

We always held a square dance for the graduating class which in the past was 5th graders. Now it is 4th graders,, It has always been a huge success..it is a free event, but we offer a dinner from pudgies that they must pay for if they want it. our organization pays for the caller and for the snacks and drinks (light refreshments).. We decorate the gym in a rural cowbay theme and encouage everyone to wear their cowboy/girls duds..
