Raise Money for your School

3 Years, 9 Months ago

Staples has a Recycle for education program that pays $3 for every eligible printer cartridge recycled at Staples. To sign-up school go to www.staplesrecyclefored.com. They provide collection material and shipping labels so all you have to do is collect and send in and they send you a check. They have already donated over $3 million to education foundations through this program and there is no limit on what you can make.

If you go to www.staples.com and search for recycle for education you can find the info to sign up for their school program. You mail them in (inkjet and/or laserjet) and you are supposed to get $3 per accepted cartridge. I have been sending the laserjet cartridges from our school for over a year and have yet to get paid. Is anyone else getting paid? I keep sending them because they are the only place I have found that will pay shipping for the laserjet cartridges, and at least they get recycled this way! All the other places I have found require you to pay shipping and you do not have any profit by the time you do that!!

Try http://www.kashforkids.com/ for your laser, inkjet and cell phone recycling. They do have prepaid UPS labels and they are very reliable. The check comes quickly and they have paid for probably 98% of the cartridges I've sent in. I've also just received a check from rrewards.com. They paid for all the cartridges I sent, paid shipping and the check came in under a month.

So which company would you recommend? Which pays out more?
