Lisa, Why can just your principal call? I called for ours. I told them there was a change in coordinator and gave them the schools number off last years invoice for what we had ordered. The kit came to the school with attention to me. call or go to www.boxtops4education.com/ and contact them.

Lisa no Chiefs tix, but alot of pics and banners. We have a securtiy guard for the chiefs on our Exec board, so he hooks us up well.

We have 425 kids, I promote the heck out of this. We send home flyers once a month, we have a bulletin board with our goal and our progress on it. We print it in our monthly newsletter. I have evn posted info in Sr retirement apt buildings, and they give us a TON!!!! I know one check we received last year was $680 and we are due for another for about $510. It is soooooo easy to do and it is basically free money!!

Just curious, how much does a school with about 400 students earn through the Box Tops program. The chairperson that does this program really doesn't pursue it very hard. She sends out a flyer in the fall about it and that is it. We make about $350 from this program. I think we could make alot more. We also do not offer any incentives.

Betty- That is great!!! You didn't happen to get any Chiefs tickets did you? :D

Does anyone know why I haven't recieved my info packet yet? The only one who can call is the principal, and she says she did, but I haven't gotten anything yet.

The prizes are fun and they excite the kids which always help. But for me, just as a parent (before I took on PTO volunteer as my alter ego) I was sold on the ease and value of the program.

It cost me absolutely nothing other than the split second it took to tear off the symbol. Every time I did, the school got 10 cents. I was buying the stuff anyway - the question became, was I throwing the money away with the packaging or routing it to school? It would have been motivating for me to have also known that "last year we bought XYZ for the school with your Box Top dollars". Also some simple math examples could be powerful. Like:

If each of our 500 students turned in only one box top per month, that' $500 towards xyz!

Just the aspect of "free money" for the school/PTO would get my interest.
