PA State Sales Tax-Exemption

Wondering if any PTO in PA has applied for and received PA state Sales Tax-Exemption. Thankfully, someone years ago went through the process of becoming a 5013 (c) organization, so we do have that. We've been told by the accountant that PTOs' in PA can't be exempt from PA Sales tax. I'm not sure I believe him.
