I am working on the start up committee of our new PTO for a brand new school. I feel guilty admitting that up to this point my only PTO involvement has been "where do I send the check" and now I'm nominated as President. You know what they say about paybacks. I've told the general population that I'll do this as long as everyone knows that I won't put up with politics, gossip and basically bull*&^%. What are my chances this is going to really happen???? Would appreciate feedback from someone who has been there and done that.
