I have been running around this site a bit, and was wondering...What do you guys put in your membership packets? I haven't found any detailed information about that...am I looking in the wrong place?

Since we are a PTSO that does not charge membership dues all of our parents are considered potential "members". However, I do like the idea of putting together some "parent packs". Our school does send out a packet to each parent that includes some items from our PTSO: a calendar of scheduled events/fundraisers, a brochure type of flyer about out group, and a VIP (Very Important Parent) Volunteer Sign Up Sheet for the year. If I was to put together a packet I would include the following:
1. List of events/fundraisers
2. Sign Up Sheet for Volunteering
3. Information On Various On Going Fundraisers
a. Kmart School Spirit Card
b. Flyer on Box Tops Program
c. Flyer on Ink Jet/Cell Phone Recycling
d. PTSO Newsletter
e. Invitation to our first PTSO meeting
f. ?????

I am going to work on getting this done and will watch for ideas from other parents!!!
