[FONT="Comic Sans MS"]Need to plan - need ideas of what I can do on this day. I need to recruit new parents. This is my 1st year as a PIA ~ need a little help on some ideas for this day. Should I send out a flyer or brochure before hand. Have some refreshments and snacks~sign in sheet? I am new to this.... help[/FONT]!:confused:

We have a table in the breezeway where the class lists are. We sell t-shirts. We hand out the Jump In magazine with a flyer/welcome letter and have email sign up. Pretty simple. We just want people to see who we are.

WE have a table set-up and display boards made that showcase some of the event that we did last year and what we fundraised for- so that way parents can see that all the fundraising that we do goes toward something for the kids... we also have sign-up sheets for box tops email, chairperson events that need someone-- help needed and the areas that need help, plus fliers to take home--- a complete PTO board listing, a list of all events and the chairperson for all the events.... plus we give out some type of freebee giveaway--- the jump in magazines-- coupons from stores... and so on-- we also make a display of box tops and campbell's products so parents can see the items that carry the logos and we show how to and how not to cut them.
