i moved form a very involved PTA to my daughters current school. The first meeting there were about ten parents. We had one parent that was just there to cause trouble. The second meeting there were 3 parents. I took over the treasurer office in November and since then have worked with the president and we have gotten a lot more involvement for events and fundraisers, but we are still getting most of our support from the teachers. It gets frustrating at time, but we do have the school support which helps us.

WOW 60 memebers. I should be asking for your advice. we have three memebers including myself and two parents..no teachers

We are a long standing program with the same problem...we started this year with talking at open house and talking to the new K parents....We a long way to go but we can apply the same efforts next year and continue to bring people in. Good luck.
