Hi all - I've been reading some past posts on Carnivals and I was looking for some input on having a "General Store" booth. I've read where schools ask for donations for this booth while others shop the local $$$ store and buy items. My question is how do you run this? You can't possibly have all options on the table at once - do you just fill the table as things sell? How has this worked for your school? Sounds like it could be a lot of fun for the kids!

I'm going to bump this up one more time....if you have any suggestions on this topic I'd love to hear them. Also - even if you haven't done this yourself...what type of selection / amount of items do you think we'd need to have on hand?

We are doing this for the first time this year. We actually got a local buisness to sponsor the store so there is no out of pocket cost to the ptso.

Hi,

We have never done a general store, but we have had a prize redemption center and our holiday shop we do the same way.

We only put 1 of each item on the tables. The rest are stored either under the table or behind. We tape it down and have a sticker for the price.

I know it's not the same thing, but I hope it helps.
