For our boo hoo breakfast we put together a "inside scoop" book for Kindergarten parents. Maybe you could do one of these for your gifts? We put in it stuff that is not in the school handbook but a newbie would worry and care about: Like where to meet your child when they are getting dismissed early, names and info on school secretary staff, tips for making their kids feel comfortable at school, best coffee shops near school, and phone numbers of pto people that would be happy to answer any questions.
