I'm a new PTA treasurer. Found out last treasurer had not filed out taxes so our 501(c)3 has been revoked. We're applying to be reinstated but I would love to see someone else's reasonable cause statement on why they didn't file. We are trying to have our reinstatement retroactive to our revocation so we don't have to pay taxes on the last year. Any help would be great. I've got a lot of help with the 1023 itself, but I'd love to actually lay eyes on a successful Reasonable Cause Statement.
