We are having a Mardi Gras themed silent auction in February, and I'm trying to think of more ideas revolving around that theme.
We are having a buffet dinner, and I was thinking about having King Cake for dessert, with a prize for whoever got the baby. We were also contemplating "bead for bids", where they get a string of beads to wear once they place their first bid. We are going to decorate in purple, green, and gold, and have tableware to match. We are also probably having jazz music. I found a CD at Party City with Sounds of Bourbon Street

Any other ideas for fun activities to have during "Mardi Gras"? It will be an adults only event, off school grounds.
