Market Day Fundraiser
Having the ability to store frozen food and treats at Wilmot Elemtary School in Deerfield, Illinois was a priority for the PTO. There wasn't enough money in the budget to afford the freezer the school needed. Market Day came to the rescue. We had been raising money through Market Day for years and found out through our Rep that there was a contest to win a deep freezer based on food sales. Together with our PTO president, Cathy Kedjijian, we motivated our parents and successfully met the sales goal to win the freezer. Our new freezer helps us save money by allowing us to buy our fun treats in bulk for our students. We found a great way to get a freezer by buying the delicious Market Day foods we were already were buying for our families. We highly recommend trying this out...don't be left out in the cold when it comes to simple fundrasing options and efforts for your school!
