I googled tissue paper flowers and this is what came up. Not bad but I didn't see actual tissue (kleenex) flowers.

Cool Idea...... What a make-it take-it craft for the parents to do. Such a neat symbol of a sad but happy day...your little one going to Kindergarden...I think I will do this...It will be cheap also...A box of kleenex and some pipe cleaners...and of course the parents imagination....lol.

I started this last year at my school (just heard it called a "Boo Hoo" Breakfast today and love it)through a newly formed Parenting Mentoring program. It went over very well! I did it very basic, just coffee and Dunkin Donuts and juice for the younger siblings. I had it announced at the kindergarten orientation/bus ride in August that this would happen on the first day of school. It had a great turnout and a lot of the parents that attended that breakfast have now joined our schools PTO. I had everyone sign in and then the parents exchanged info. also.

hi, i am a new president and love the idea of a boo hoo breakfast, we hope to hold our first in sept., does anyone have an ideas for a flyer or a copy of one?? i need some catchy advertising!!

I need your opinion....We are considering a boo hoo breakfast for our school. We have two kindergarten classes, one in a.m. and one in p.m. They both start the year off on different days. When would be a good day to have the breakfast?

What I have decided to do is offer a Boo Hoo Breakfast for the A.M. parents and a Boo Hoo Brunch for the P.M. parents...I have gotten with Panera Bread and they are donating bagels. Then I will have juice and coffee/tea. I got some kleenex holders(placstic ones) from the dollar store and decopoged pictures of children going to school...busses, bookbags, pencils. I will use them as centerpieces for the tables. I will inform parents of this event at registration which is about 10 days before school begins....

love the idea...would also greatly appreciate any flyer/info available....thanks in advance!
