Re: Yearbook/Pictures ??
We use a company called Josten's which uses a program called yearbookavenue. I'm sure you can find them online.
This past year was our first time trying it. Even though we are just a K through 4 elementary, it ended up being pretty successful. We weren't looking to make a profit, but ended up coming out a couple of hundred ahead.
It's all based on how many you order/sell. I don't remember the specific cost, but we ordered 250, which ended up being perfect. And that included us gifting each staff member with a yearbook for staff appreciation week.
The early order cost was like $9, but then it went up over the course of a couple of months. By the end of the year the cost was $18 for those who wanted one last minute.
What was pretty neat about this company is that we do the book ourselves online using their program. We log in at the site and then can upload pics. From their we can create pages, etc.
They even sent out a rep to show a couple of us how to do it.
Our problem was that we started this in January, so we had a lot of work to do. If we had tried to keep up on this all year long it would have been much easier. For the staff and student pics we just asked the company that the school uses for class pictures for a CD, which they gave with no issues. I think it's pretty standard for the companies that do the school pics to provide a disk with all of the pics on them for school use. If not then look to change picture companies.
Hope this helps.
