PTO Today

This next year our school will be implementing a new student behavior/conduct program. The PTO has decided to purchase banners to
advertise / announce the new theme.......I have checked the PTO Yellow Pages and was unable to find a vendor. (Perhaps I'm not looking under correct listings?)...Has anyone had banners (vinyl/ canvas) made for their school? Can you recommend a vendor. All /any replies are appreciated!!!!

We always use a local sign maker. In fact, he usually donates part of the signs or else gives us a really good deal.

If it's a custom printed banner, I'd really encourge you to look at local sources in your community. I think it's important for the PTO to buy locally when possible.

I agree with JHB. We actually have a grandparent of a student who used to do work such as that and contact them when we need help. They always come up with what we need at a reasonable (sometimes free) cost.

do you have printing services from your school district? we are in a large district and we can get great banners and posters at an incredible reduced price plus....the money goes back to the school district.

if you want to do it on the cheap..... you could use die cut letters, long art paper(butcher paper) and your school laminating machine.

otherwise.... locally is the best way to go or a search on the internet?

Most office supply stores that have a printing component can do a banner. Kinko's, CopyMax, etc. But I agree with ds, call the district office and see what company they use, they'll probably give you the best deal.
