We are trying to come up with some new ideas for rewarding our middle school children - would like more of an overall school award, not a classroom award. Anyone have any good ideas?

What kinds of things do you want to reward?

Our middle school does a movie afternoon to reward all of the students who have turned in all of their work each quarter.

Our school gives quarterly good behavior rewards to the entire school (950 students). Sometimes 6th graders will get popcorn, 7th graders will get ice cream, and 8th graders will get sno cones, for example. Sometimes they just get extra free time outdoors. In the spring, they get to attend the student talent show. PTO involvement is usually assisting with ice shaving or making popcorn. The teachers usually do most of the work! But the talent show is all ours. We hold auditions, schedule a rehearsal, and emcee the show. No awards, just talent on stage.
