PTO Today

This isn't for the playground but we had a cover over the sidewalk in the front of the school. In the summer the concret gets HOT and the kids that are car-riders have to sit out there on it and wait. Parents are complaining and the Pricipal told us that it cost too much $$$ to replace it, like about $50,000. I don't presonally so how it would cost that much, but I still don't know how i would get ANY money to build one. I have asked a local lumber company and was told that they will donate SOME of the wood, but wood won't last long. Any one have any suggestions as to how to get money for this and were can we get a cover?
